Critical Pedagogue
I graduated from the NoVA(Nordic Visual Studies and Art education) program at Aalto University (Finland), which “highly emphasizing democratic societies, egalitarianism, socially just pedagogical skills and practices, human rights and social/ cultural sustainability”.
The Finnish education system is so inspiring that I found an experimental pre-school education studio (Garagee studio, 2015-2018) in Taiwan for my daughter and a small learning group, to develop critical pedagogy in STEAM projects — that is, with arts and humanity-centric mindset as the core value in visual culture art education.
